We make modern life possible by delivering safer, smarter and more sustainable services that make a difference to people and our planet while revolutionizing industry trends.ABOUT THE ROLEProvide daily management and support to category/commodity team members and ensure proper development and execution of comprehensive category/commodity strategies that exceed both short term and long-term targets. Accountable for all commercial negotiations and supplier selections within commodities. Responsible for developing Category/commodity strategy and playbook. Responsible for management of strategic suppliers through formal Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) process and accountable for monitoring supplier risk across all responsible commodities.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIESTeam Development and Management: Provide daily/weekly support, utilizing MD/CI process.Strategic Alignment: Collaborate with regional/sector stakeholders to align category/commodity strategy with broader product and manufacturing goals.Opportunity Assessment: Lead team in conducting comprehensive assessments, including spend segmentation, commodity maturity, and cost drivers.Sourcing Strategy: Develop and execute sourcing strategies, detailing projects, levers, timing, and expected benefits.Project Execution: Oversee sourcing projects, including RFx, continuous improvement, and consolidation.Negotiation Strategy: Define negotiation strategy, including supplier profiles, commercial targets, switching costs, and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).Supplier Selection and Management: Execute commodity blocking strategy, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships through formal SRM process.Transformation: Engage with Project teams to support new product development (NPD) and new technology introduction (NTI) initiatives.Risk Management: Monitor supplier risk, develop mitigation plans, and manage category/commodity inflation.Financial Performance: Ensure cashflow, spend under contract, and productivity targets are met.Team Collaboration: Foster a collaborative work environment and present team updates during Quarterly Category/Commodity Reviews (QCRs).EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTSAdequate English level to handle fluent and assertive conversations across global teams (written and spoken).BA/BS degree with 10+ years in Supply Chain, Procurement or MA/MBA degree with 8+ years in Supply Chain, Procurement.6+ years of experience in Category/Commodity Management.Strong Analytic experience.Strong negotiation skills.Experience with large complex cross functional projects
