As the Associate Director of Group Sales, you will report directly to the Director of Sales and Events, and become an integral part of a dynamic, passionate team.
Your role will directly contribute to this continued success by focusing on positive sales growth, achieving your sales quota, and servicing group events.
Youll also play a pivotal role in mentoring and developing professionals by assisting with hiring, training, and coaching group sales and event planning managers.
This position oversees and works closely with the Operations team to ensure the successful planning, coordination, and execution of all group events.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue goals.
Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics and develop action plans for improvement.
Identify and develop new markets and business opportunities.
Identify and enhance relationships with existing accounts.
Develop and implement pricing strategies to maximize profitability.
Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create compelling proposals and presentations.
Analyze market trends and provide insights to inform business strategies.
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings.
Lead, motivate and manage sales team to achieve desired results.
Mentor and support the sales team to enhance performance and foster professional growth.
Qualifications: Proven mínimum 3 years experience in sales management, preferably within the DMC and MICE sales environment Strong network within the DMC and MICE industry A self-starter who is highly driven, solutions-orientated, persistent, and adaptable to change Excellent communication and leadership skills, relationship management, negotiation, and networking abilities A proven track record in achieving targets and yield management A collaborative and motivating leader of others with a strategic and analytical focus Ability to recognize trends and shift strategy to maximize results Ability to think strategically while managing day-to-day sales.
Excellent emotional intelligence Proficiency in CRM softwares and sales analytics tools.
Has a passion for direct sales and willingness to jump in to assist in developing relationships and territories.
