Associate Education Specialist, K-12 School Communities

Associate Education Specialist, K-12 School Communities The Education Department of the J. Paul Getty Museum seeks an Associate Education Specialist for K-12 School Communities to support the Museum's onsite, virtual, and digital K-12 school initiatives and Title 1 bus program. As a member of the Education and Public Programs Department, the Associate Education Specialist for School Communities is responsible for the operational aspects of the Getty's Art Access program, which is one of the largest K-12 school visit programs in the country. The candidate in this role will oversee daily operations for the successful deployment and scheduling of museum staff and docents to accommodate students and teachers participating daily at the Getty Center and via virtual programming. The successful candidate will possess a background in office administration, logistics and operations, scheduling, and should be data driven, detail oriented, and customer service-minded. Under moderate supervision, the Associate Education Specialist may supervise work study students and interns throughout the year, and reports to the Education Specialist for K-12 School Communities.
Qualifications: 3-5 years of project/process management and subject area experience
