Associate Financial Analyst - Finance

**SUMMARY**

This position is accountable for the timely research and resolution of merchandise vendor disputes and inquiries in order to ensure proper payment and/or understanding of terms set forth in the vendor agreements. This includes fostering strong partnerships with the merchandise vendor, Accounts Payable, Supply Chain and Merchandising throughout the resolution process.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

Responsible for handling all aspects of individual vendor disputes.

Assist in department-level process improvement projects.

Participate and contribute to the key initiatives of the department.

Analyze reporting to identify vendor non-compliance.

Create and publish departmental metrics as assigned.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- **Level of formal education**: A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent.
- **Area of study**:Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
- **Years of experience**:2-3 years
- **Type of experience**:

- Analysis and problem-solving aptitude
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills

**Other/preferred**:Strong human relations, teamwork, analytical, oral and written communication skills.
