This includes sendig emails, sending dunning letters, executing timely phone calls, and utilizing Nordson's SAP enterprize system to run reports on customers.
Position requires an individual who has knowledge of accounting procedures, able to meet deadlines and work with minimum supervision.
This role must also have the ability to perform and help support duties of the Accounts receivable team leader and Representatives in Accounts Receivable.Essential Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesMake daily collection callsSend daily emails regarding open items though case management toolAssist with customer account reconciliationsDocument collection related activities for assigned accountsEvaluate orders on credit hold and release when appropriateInteract with customers, both internally and externally, to identify and resolve outstanding issues in a timely and professional mannerDispute managementConduct account research and analysisPerforms other duties as assignedEducation and Experience RequirementsEducation:Bachelor degree, or 2+ years of proven and relevant work experienceLanguageGood command in English – verbal and writtenFluent Spanish – verbal and writtenExperience:Strong background in Accounts receivable & Accounts payable and General Accounting principalsMinimum 2 years relevant experience is requiredSAP ProficiencyPreferred Skills and AbilitiesAbility to problem solve through technical and analytical analysisWorking knowledge of SAPSuperior written and verbal communication skills and inter-personal skillsSuperior organizational, decision-making and follow-up skillsAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionAbility to adjust to flexible environmentGeneral knowledge of changing economic conditionsFunctional knowledge in use of personal computerPC Software (Microsoft Office- Proficient in Excel)English speaking is a plusOutstanding customer focus including attributes of empathy, compassion and service orientationPassionate and high energy which can assist in selling future vision to customersStrong detail orientation, with focus on data qualityAdaptability/flexibility which includes being open to change and conducting business differentlyFocused on continuous learning and developing new skillsExcellent process orientation which focuses on efficiency without losing sight of customer experienceSavvy with technology which includes use of web-based platforms, case management, etc.Working Conditions and Physical DemandsOffice environment.
