Eaton's Corporate Sector division is currently seeking a Associate IT Analyst.
**What you'll do**:
**PRIMARY FUNCTION**:
**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**:
- Provides desk-side support at the site(s).
- Under the guidance of a more senior peer or supervisor, participates in IT initiatives..
- Participates on projects as directed by IT Site Infrastructure Support (SIS).
- Gathers information needed to support IT business metrics.
- Maintains control of desktop software and hardware in order to ensure license compliancy and asset management.
- Install software and hardware upgrades to support IT initiatives and comply with established standards.
- Maintain infrastructure in order to decrease downtime and maintain quality.
- Stay current with industry trends in Information Technology advancements
- Partner with other groups to seek out opportunities to increase end-user operational efficiency
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor degree in Systems or Technology (preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of IT experience
- English: Intermediate
- IT Infrastructure (working knowledge) - network, servers, storage, phone systems.
- Customer Service experience.
- Use of ticketing system and meeting Service Level Agreements.
**SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE**:
- An Associates degree with zero to one years experience preferred and ITIL, MCSA, or comparable certification desirable.
- Under the direction of a project manager participates in projects of various scale.
**ADDITIONAL INFORMATION**:
- Critical contact for infrastructure outages that cause negative business impact.
- Work environment ranges from office to manufacturing floor situations. May be contacted after hours for emergencies.
- Must be able to work well under pressure. Travel - up to 10%.
