**About the Role**
Transplace, an Uber Freight company, is looking for experienced professionals' supervisors with a background in the Transportation, Supply Chain or Logistics field. Our specialists will supervise day-to-day aspects of booking, shipping, tracking, and billing on both import and export shipments while providing excellent customer service to our customers.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with Customers through professional and timely communications, and inquiry responses.
- Ensure CSRs and Team Leaders achieve their goals and meet day to day operations' needs.
- Source, coordinate Capacity assignment according to Customer's requirements and needs with Procurement/Capacity team that meet the financial and service expectations of Transplace.
- Monitor team's performance.
- Secure and request automatization of rates in TMS.
- Ensure carrier performance meets customer expectations
- Capacity internal performance metrics.
- Make strategic transportation & volume commitment decisions with the Capacity and Sales team that positively impact Transplace profitability and/or customer costs.
- Communicate service issues to customer or TP management.
- Demonstrate ownership of assigned segments of business.
- Analyze customer and carrier data, to identify cost saving opportunities.
- Assists on onboarding processes.
- Oversee team assigned to the position and monitor service across different zones/accounts.
- Track volume and revenues on a weekly basis (Scorecards).
- Oversee and correct service issues with customers.
**Basic Qualifications**
- 3 - 5 years' experience on Logistics
- At least 1 year managing personnel
- Microsoft Excel— knowledge of Microsoft Excel including but not limited to VLookup, Pivot Tables and advanced formulas
- Bachelor's degree
- Advanced Spanish and English written, oral, and presentation communication skills
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Logistics Expertise—Understand import and export operation basics, function of the Elogs and fuel
- Reporting and Analytics (Ability to run BI reports; validate information; understand report, and offer feedback and deliver insights to your manager and or customer contacts on the information contained within the report)
- Microsoft Excel— knowledge of Microsoft Excel including but not limited to VLookup, Pivot Tables and advanced formulas
