Position reports to Head of Therapy areas General Medicine Vaccines & Specialities (GEMVACS) as part of local Medical Affairs department.
Primary Responsibilities:
Management activity focus on Scientific exchange and Scientific communication with internal and external stakeholders;
Scientific based evidence on vaccination and portfolio vaccines to support communication in activities one on one, scientific meetings, support to internal training;
Field of action includes private and public sectors, but focus priority in Public sector, National and state Health authorities and vaccines organisms;
Support cross functional areas like access, policy, commercial, marketing and training, for scientific/medical advice on vaccines and vaccination focus on portfolio and direct main competitors;
From field medical activities get relevant insights to optimize vaccines strategy;
Implement global and regional strategies to local Medical affairs plans and Field medical plans that implies close coordination with regional medical Directors;
At local level create and Lead implementation of Field Medical Plan and administrative gestion of Medical Scientific Liason assigned to vaccines area in Medical Affairs local organization dedicated to vaccines;
Local figure of reference for medical/scientific advise on responses to Medical Information Requests, Regulatory in topics of vaccines and Responses to scientific inquiries from health authorities on local vaccines portfolio;
Participation in scientific meetings (National/International) in vaccines area as part of Continuous Medical Education to maintain scientific leadership on vaccination, vaccines focus on vaccines portfolio;
Education Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Medicine (infectologist, hematologist)
At least 5 year experience working with vaccines in public institutions
English and Spanish Fluent
