You will provide legal advice and representation and help to resolve customer disputes in three key areas: new business solutions, maintenance and service, and modernization. Assists manager with the following: conduct preliminary compliance investigation, draft templates for business lines, prepare customer response letters for frontlines, support collections team, and support communications team.You will also:- Review, drafts and negotiates contracts and other legal documents.- Draft contract templates.- Develop, implements and updates relevant legal policies and guidelines.- Ensure that shareholders' meetings, board meetings and related filings and documentation are timely done in compliance with applicable laws and reported under the KONE Company Files policy.- Focus on preventing legal and contractual problems.- Follow changes in laws and regulations and advise on how they impact KONE- Coordinate legal proceedings before courts, government agencies, or other authorities so that the organization's interests are protected.- Maintain and coordinates contacts with external lawyers and related advisors.- Collaborate with business colleagues to achieve targeted business results with acceptable level of legal risk- Provide training on legal areas affecting KONE's business.We are looking for someone who has:- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong negotiation skills in Spanish and English.- More than 5 years of civil law experience in a law firm, corporation, or as a notary. Familiarity with service and construction industry desirable.- Possession of, or ability to qualify for and acquire any passport or work visa required to attend meetings and conferences in the US.- 4-year college level education with law degree- Availability to travel up to 10%-20% during the year.In addition, you will bring:- Strong and effective communication skills with a demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate.- An ability to conduct multiple tasks simultaneously and solve practical problems
