You will provide legal advice and representation and help to resolve customer disputes in three key areas: new business solutions, maintenance and service, and modernization. You will assist the manager with the following:Conduct preliminary compliance investigations.Draft templates for business lines.Prepare customer response letters for frontlines.Support the collections team.Support the communications team.You will also:Review, draft, and negotiate contracts and other legal documents.Draft contract templates.Develop, implement, and update relevant legal policies and guidelines.Ensure that shareholders' meetings, board meetings, and related filings and documentation are timely done in compliance with applicable laws and reported under the KONE Company Files policy.Focus on preventing legal and contractual problems.Follow changes in laws and regulations and advise on how they impact KONE.Coordinate legal proceedings before courts, government agencies, or other authorities to protect the organization's interests.Maintain and coordinate contacts with external lawyers and related advisors.Collaborate with business colleagues to achieve targeted business results with an acceptable level of legal risk.Provide training on legal areas affecting KONE's business.We are looking for someone who has:Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong negotiation skills in Spanish and English.More than 5 years of civil law experience in a law firm, corporation, or as a notary. Familiarity with the service and construction industry is desirable.Possession of, or ability to qualify for and acquire any passport or work visa required to attend meetings and conferences in the US.4-year college level education with a law degree.Availability to travel up to 10%-20% during the year.In addition, you will bring:Strong and effective communication skills with a demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate.An ability to conduct multiple tasks simultaneously and solve practical problems.An ability to write reports and business correspondence.Please submit your resume in English version.We value your authentic self and are committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
