.Associate Payroll Manager, AmericasLocation: Guadalajara, MexicoReports to: Sr Manager, Payroll ServicesThe Associate Payroll Manager, Americas will be responsible for the successful delivery with the highest levels of quality and timeliness of payroll operations ensuring compliance of internal and external policies and regulations across different countries in the Americas region.They are responsible for supporting the payroll operations team in the execution of payroll related processes, services and solutions ensuring delivery within agreed upon service levels by providing expert advice and technical mentoring.Continuously seeking improvement on process and service delivery adhering to the existing HR model.Key Deliverables:Support payroll team to ensure activities are well-managed and payroll processes completed on time and within quality objectives.Participate in the execution of day-to-day payroll inputs collection, handoffs, approvals, and issue management.Manage resolution of payroll related escalated inquiries and complaints.Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations and controls.Recommend improvements in systems, processes and tools based on operations results.Share relevant payroll information, access and knowledge with other HR teams to provide the best employee and manager experience and support through the ideal service and support channel.Collaborate with audit teams for internal and external audits.Knowledge, Skills, and Requirements:5 years of relevant processing experience in Payroll processing in an in-house environment for countries in the Americas region: Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, US, Canada, etc.Bachelor's Degree (or commensurate work experience) in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or a related field preferred.Knowledgeable of Compliance and Regulatory requirements related to payroll.Experience in measuring and reporting payroll performance with relevant key performance indicators.Experience in Shared Services model.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel including mastery of v-lookup, pivot tables and advanced formula functions.Customer service-oriented with skills in critical thinking and continuous improvement.Excellent aptitude and adoption of technology tools to facilitate effectiveness and efficiency.Experience in leading and mentoring team peers and contributing in engagement with local and remote team members.Experience with and ability to quickly comprehend requirements and transform them into project tasks/deliverables.Must be able to work under tight timelines and have good organization and time management skills for managing multiple, diverse, and conflicting activities.Multi-lingual capability required.
