DescriptionOur Associate Prod Mgr. will do:
Provide correct mix/inventory levels within company objectives to maximize sales and profits through successful inventory management by effectively utilizing system generated analysis tools and by incorporating independent judgment and decision making to additional input/information from a variety of sources, including but not limited to, market/industry trends, suppliers and the TTI sales organization.Generate and/or approve purchase orders minimizing stock-outs of A&B items and purchase inventory to achieve maximum quantities at lowest possible cost.Maintain system integrity by ensuring that TTI systems/databases reflect accurate, comprehensive and up-to-date product-related information (increment quantity, minimum order quantities, correct costs, delivery information, etc) for assigned product line or commodity type.Support sales to increase business and achieve total customer satisfaction by working directly with suppliers on quotes to obtain the most competitive position possible.Enhance the image of TTI in the marketplace as the distributor of choice by effectively performing all job accountabilities and developing and maintaining successful supplier relationships.Support Director Product Marketing/Product Manager in efforts to effectively market line or commodity type by providing ongoing education/promotion when interacting with TTI sales organization, offering input/recommendations regarding new product offerings, and assisting in the development and implementation of marketing plans.Process and resolve accounting, receiving and customer rejected concerns in an expeditious manner by researching the issue, determining appropriate resolution and providing disposition for nonconforming product to the appropriate parties.What we look For: High School or General Education Degree (GED) required. Bachelors Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience preferred.Three plus years applicable work experience (e.g. Buyer, Inside Sales Representative, Program Manager) in a related industry preferred with a demonstrated history of successful performance.Working knowledge of purchasing, inventory management, the TTI purchasing system and trend analysis preferred.Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Powerpoint, Word and Outlook) at the intermediate level preferred.What we offer our team members: 12 vacation days after the first year.30 days Christmas bonus.Major Medical coverage, Employee and dependent coverage are available at no cost.Life Insurance coverage is company paid.Great culture and opportunities for growth and advancement.Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities
