If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.Job SummaryTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add an Associate Production Supervisor located in Guadalajara, North Campus.Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Associate Production Supervisor role involves being in charge of directing the manufacturing operations performed in a shift or group of production lines, ensuring they reach volume, quality and cost goals.What a typical day looks like:Manages the production of several processes/lines in a highly technical environment and in charge of the lines success.Evaluates daily/regularly plant operating performance and advises on changes in operating conditions that will improve efficiencies and quality.Guides a team of professionals (e.G. engineers/officers) to meet quality, cost, delivery and acknowledge requirements.Troubleshoots and explores operational problems and advises on their resolution. Guides regular discussions with operators to coach performance and improve operational comprehension and capability.Solicits and evaluates ideas for plant improvements and contributes with qualified engineers to develop project proposals.Provides technical and operational advice to project teams.May act as principal interface between the operations team and the maintenance function.Engages in training and coaching of junior operators.Prioritizes production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply to meet customer requirements.Initiates and participates in process development and cost improvement projects.Assists in department budget planning and management of department expenses.Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing team members on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.Ensures compliance of standards.The experience we're looking to add to our team:BA/BS or equivalent work experience.Experience in a similar position in an electronic manufacturing environment.Knowledge of production control systems (Serials, flows, traceability).Knowledge in SMT & integration fabrication processes.Experience in the use of Floor shop systems
