BASIC FUNCTIONS:Responsible for the oversight of service delivery for studies having Clinical Reporting services to plan, schedule, direct, control, monitor, organize, secure and manage resources to bring about the successful completion of programs and/or projects involved Clinical Reporting team. Support Clinical Reporting management team for strategic planning and staff oversight, ensuring activities are in line with contracted scope; executed towards timelines set forth in the study; monitor the resourcing requirements of assigned studies; review financial reports to track execution towards proposed budget, monthly time projected and tracking out of scope work; and, support the efforts of Clinical Reporting team members, ensuring clear client and internal team communication including technical documentation management. Provide support to identify and mitigate risks that may arise during the study deliverables.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:- Review and create technical study timelines based on project scope and deliverables using relevant project management tracking tools.- Manage ongoing technical team activity, Clinical Reporting tasks and project backlog, monitor completion status.- Implement training, manage user access, and develop report and solutions for relevant project management tracking tools and software, perform helpdesk duties for Project Management tracking tool.- Attend internal and client meetings where deliverable oversight is required.- Provides support where needed on sponsor and cross-departmental communications to ensure a clear message is given where necessary on dealing with challenging situation.- Manage Clinical Reporting project documentation including preparation, review and approval process and oversee user access management for blinded and unblinded studies.- Set up and lead internal meetings to facilitate Clinical Reporting deliverables and ensure ongoing communication with project teams.- Develop and implement risk management methodologies to identify and address obstacles to successful completion of scheduled project tasks and activities.- Educate team members on study budgets, identifying and tracking out of scope activities for the studies they are working on and maintain accountability for notifying Project Managers when additional activities may cause budget overburn.- Perform monthly time projections and provide time projection support for other Clinical Reporting leads.- Provide regular project reports and updates to Clinical Reporting Management as requested.- Communicate resourcing challenges, concerns, performance issues and training requirements to management where necessary.- Identify areas of process improvements including supporting process development and updates to trainings, departmental technical guides and/or SOP/WP.- Perform other duties that may be requested by management as assigned.
