We're using a variety of modern data tooling on the AWS platform, such as Snowflake and dbt, with SQL and Python being extensively employed.
**The position**:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced **Associate Team Lead** to join our Data Engineering team. This person will be responsible for overseeing and mentoring a group of ~2-4 engineers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality data products and solutions.

**What you bring**:
- Solid experience with data platform tooling (SQL, ETL (eg. Airflow, Argo), data warehouse (eg. Snowflake) and dbt.
- Strong experience as an engineer or developer within data teams
- Solid understanding of engineering development principles and best practices
- Solid communication skills and stakeholder management capabilities
- Inspires others, instills confidence, and good comprehension of team dynamics, coaching and mentoring
- Great communication, project management skills and ability to lead technical discussions
- Strong ability to work independently and self-guided, and comfortable with ambiguity
- Curiosity and willingness to learn and develop
- Writes and speaks fluent English
- It's not required to have experience working remotely, but considered a plus
