Associate Test Engineer

Essential Duties and Responsibilities_
1. Perform and document test processes with direction from the Test Engineer.

2. Coordinate new product test station design and development with engineering staff.

3. Execute functional testing related to communication protocols in SEL relays.

4. Improve the performance and efficiency of the testing area by continuously identifying, measuring, improving, and analyzing well-defined processes.

5. Understand, create, simplify processes.

6. Other duties as assigned.
- Required Qualifications_
A.S./B.S. in Electrical Engineering or Electronic Engineering or equivalent

2 - 5 years experience in electronic design, manufacturing and testing

Skill in design of test fixtures, test procedures and test documentation

Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills (English)

Desirable familiarity with communication protocols, power systems and networking

Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities

Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment

Background check results satisfactory to SEL
