Working as part of a consulting team, an Associate Consultant will collaborate with clients to assess their security posture. This role will predominantly focus on Avertium vulnerability management as a service offering, retesting penetration tests, and performing miscellaneous administrative duties. This role requires a foundational understanding of cybersecurity principles, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders**Responsibilities**:- Cybersecurity assessments: Perform vulnerability scanning and retest penetration tests to identify vulnerabilities, evaluate risks, and provide recommendations for improving client security posture.- Present and provide guidance on vulnerability remediation.- Maintain team infrastructure within AWS and hardware deployed in client environments.- Perform miscellaneous administrative tasks and research to aid in team performance.- Prove knowledge through performance and complete provided training to be promoted to Threat Labs consultant and perform full penetration tests.**Qualifications**:- A bachelor's in information security or a related field is preferred.- 2+ years of relevant work experience in cybersecurity, consulting, or a related field.- Foundational knowledge of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and industry best practices is required.- Foundational knowledge of penetration testing methodologies, tools, and techniques is required.- Foundational certifications such as Security +, SSCP, Pentest+, CEH or comparable is required.- Experience in vulnerability scanning is required.- Vulnerability analysis and the ability to explain remediation are required.- Experience and proficiency in network and system administration is required.- Experience and strong knowledge of Linux is a must.- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.- Working effectively in a team and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders is required.- #LI-CS1
