You help us predict future risks while working in an agile and innovative environment.
Being part of the audit engagement team, Assurance Professional will significantly contribute in identifying issues and defining corrective actions that will impact important business decisions across Siemens Energy.
Assurance Professional will evaluate compliance with operational and financial guidelines and procedures, identify the root cause of critical operational or financial issues, assess the level of impact on the business, and advise Management on defined actions to mitigate and prevent identified issues in the future.
**How You'll Make an Impact**
- Perform (data) analyses to ensure that all risks are identified at early stage of audit planning.
- Perform the audit engagement in coordination with the Product Owner and use analytical skills to identify root causes of findings and mitigating improvement areas.
- Take full ownership and responsibility of assigned audit tasks by understanding risk and impact of observations.
- Conclude and document audit observations and derive mitigating actions.
- Participate in closing meetings with management as well as supporting discussions.
- Act as a change agent by participating in forward-looking projects that provide assurance for critical business matters.
**What You Bring**
In addition to an agile, diverse, and inclusive mindset you require:
- First professional experience within a multinational enterprise, a Big4 accounting firm or consulting.
- Strong past performance in academics (finance, IT, business, engineering, legal, mathematics, or others; CPA, MBA, or Data Analytics Master education desirable but not mandatory)
- 10+ years of experience ('hot skill') in at least one of the following or similar areas: Accounting, Data Analytics, Technology & Innovation, Project Management, Supply Chain Management.
Legal & Compliance or Strategy
- Desire and potential to develop into future leadership roles within Siemens Energy as your next career step.
- Commitment to continuous learning and to global travel up to 30%-50%
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a must.
