Our people are passionate and qualified; by joining BRP, you will evolve at the heart of an experienced team that will welcome you with open arms.-MAJOR PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES- Coordinate 3rd shift team, to react and improve our processes in terms of Health and Safety, Quality, Productivity and Costs.- Leadership 360 degrees in terms of communication, negotiation and leading with the example for improving and/or solving issues related with Fixtures, equipment and methods.- Promote winning attitude and create happiness atmosphere while deploying big performance in a very dynamic environment.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Develop balancing work stations and improve efficiency and man power resources.- Support to maintain assembly line running and support issues related to tooling, fixtures, presses, torques, machinery and other industrial engineering activities.- Design a strong SMED and Poka-yoke strategy for assembly line for the complete SSV line-up.- Establish an orientation and balanced mechanical complexity of the tooling and machinery of the assembly plant.- Performance management of the team and Budget Follow-up for Opex.- Quick reaction to assure assembly line running with Health and Safety, Quality and Productivity.- Support to specific and special actions related to project development on 1st and 2nd Shift.- Knowledge on standard workQUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS- Engineer Degree (Manufacturing, Electrical, or Mechanical); 8 to 10 years of experience; - Excellent mechanical design skills- Bilingual (70% English and Spanish), both oral and written; - GD&T (Geometric tolerancing) and FEA, Finite element analysis expertise; - Excellent PFMEA, Poka-yokes, ISO Procedures Knowledge; - Excellent 3D Model software knowledge (Catia, Solid-works, etc); - Solving Problems Methodology.
