**Title**: Audit and Compliance Manager
**Primary Location**: Mexico (MX) - Nuevo León JD Credit - Mexico
**Function**: Financial Services
**Main Responsibilities**:
- Ensures business procedures and practices are in compliance with established corporate and local regulations.
Manages successful audits and examinations (internal and external).
Collaborates with other departments to strengthen awareness and knowledge of compliance issues and internal control improvement; serves as the key contact on risk, compliance and regulatory strategic projects.
Provides direct supervision or work direction to department personnel.
**What Skills You Need**:
- Manages the coordination of compliance activities (internal and external).
- Provides continuous process improvements for assigned processes.
- Develops and drafts compliance reports.
Assists in the development of compliance plans, communication and training.
- Provides direct supervision or work direction to departmental personnel including assisting with problem solving, training, and mentoring.
- Identifies, follows up and/or resolves regulatory and risk questions impacting products and services.
- Coordinates all quality assurance audits and maintains the schedule for completion regarding area of responsibility.
Develops a process for the scheduling and staffing of these audits and determines a course of action.

- Understands legal issues affecting area of responsibility, able to identify issues associated with assigned tasks, and able to spot ethical issues in practice.
- Knowledge of disclosure regulations related to financial institutions - SOFOMEs (what is in and out of the public domain).
- Understanding of federal and state regulations.
- Excellence in verbal and written communication forms with emphasis on persuasive communication, tact and negotiation, English and Spanish.
