**AUDIT SENIOR ACCOUNTANT - SHARED SERVICE CENTER**At CRI your career path is just that—yours. Senior Accountants in Audit are expected to:- Know and understand the reason behind the firm's policies and procedures- Possess technical knowledge sufficient to supervise ("coach") staff accountants- Begin acquiring the skills necessary to develop quality client relationships and loyalty- Exhibit (or develop) skills and characteristics delineated in the Firm's evaluation forms- Begin to develop a command of GAAP, OCBOA, unique or specialized accounting principles, and financial statement presentations- Obtain a thorough understanding of generally accepted auditing standards and common audit procedures and techniques- Assume responsibility for efficiently supervising both audit and non-audit engagements/tasks- Interact with core engagement teams and all low-levels of client personnel in an intelligent and professional manner**Essential Functions**:- Performs diversified accounting and auditing assignments under the direction of supervisor and manager- Participates in planning and executing client engagements/tasks- Prepares and indexes working papers; performs various procedures established under generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) to verify accuracy and validity of client's financial matters- Begins to develop a command of GAAP, other comprehensive bases of accounting, unique or specialized accounting principles, and financial statement presentations- Obtains a thorough understanding of generally accepted auditing standards and common audit procedures and techniques- Effectively communicates with core engagement teams to receive information necessary to complete the engagement with a minimum of disruption to client**Qualifications**:- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting with the 150 hours and must have completed all requirements to be able to sit for the CPA or Chartered Accountant exam- Minimum of 2 years in public accounting, demonstrating a progression in complexity of auditing and accounting tasks as well as having in charged engagements- Proficiency in accounting software- Oral and written communication skills in English- Strong organizational and analytical abilities- Ability to work well in a team environmentCRI unites your professional passions with your individual personal pursuits.
