We believe that face-to-face interactions are critical for individual and team development in this role.Your role.Your work will include, but not be limited to:Conduct audits and reviews including planning, assessing risks; evaluating internal control design and effectiveness; developing and controlling analysis and testing, handling substantive procedures, identifying, and assisting in the resolution of client issues, and reporting.Through conducting objective diagnostic tests and analytical reviews, the auditor is responsible for the verification of a company's financial records by following Generally Accepted Auditing Principles.The qualifications.Bachelor's degree in Accounting; Master's degree preferredBe willing to obtain the CPA/CPC within a defined period of time2-4 years of recent public accounting experience (audit firms) working with Manufacturing clients1+ years working with US businesses (client, employer, or vendor relationships)Solid understanding of Mexican and US GAAPSolid understanding of Mexican Tax RegulationsFluent in Spanish and English - written and verbalResumes submitted in English strongly preferredExperience working in a team environmentTravel & Hours.This is an exempt position that may require some Saturday work hours and overtime during work weekQualified individuals must either reside in or near Monterrey, Mexico or be willing to relocate to the area for this opportunity50% travel is required with this positionOn the surface, we're one of the nation's largest audit, tax, consulting, and wealth management firms.
