DescriptionThis position plays a crucial role in conducting internal audits for the organization, including financial, operational, compliance and strategy-focused audits in Mexico, Canada and USA. The successful candidate may also be assigned the responsibility of supporting the Quality Assurance and Improvement Program, quarterly Audit and Finance Committee reporting, the Annual Audit Plan and the AuditBoard application. The auditor will contribute to enhancing risk management at CPKC, build relationships with leaders, and develop communication and leadership skills. The role involves planning, executing and reporting on all aspects of audits, utilizing analytical tools and making recommendations that add value to the business. This position offers broad exposure to the entire organization, including interaction with all levels of management.The auditor will receive a moderate level of guidance and direction and will be tasked with solving a wide range of moderately complex problems. They will be responsible for leading projects of limited scope and/or portions of larger projects. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have the opportunity to provide informal guidance to less experience team members and contribute to department objectives and outcomes as directed
