The automation and control engineer primary responsibilities include:- An automation and control engineer designs and manages all the machinery involved in the production process.- Automation engineers facilitate software and hardware solutions to integrate all and contribute to process automation.- Finding automation potential in software/hardware processes.- Automation Engineer delivers automated solutions for software processes.- Simplify and automate production process.- The automation engineer will also have the responsibility of overseeing all the technology he has created/implemented.- Modelling, simulation, and control of production processes.- Projection and implementation of instrumentation measurements, sensors, and algorithms.- Leading in the planning and design of automation solutions.- Creation of the technical and economic feasibility study of the solutions it develops.- Standardization and verification of quality control (quality control testing).**SKILLS**:- Extensive knowledge of Automation engineering (Mechanical approach).- Extensive knowledge of Automation engineering (Software approach).- Solid works knowledge is a must.- Windows and MS Office handling (Advanced).- Expertise with test harness design fabrication for power supplies connectivity.- Expertise of safety tests (Hi-pot, Leakage, GC, etc).- Expertise of safety measures and devices. (Light curtains, emergency stop, safety equipment, etc.)- IoT knowledge- Digital communication protocols (RS232, USART, UART, SPI, I2C, SMEMA, others) knowledge.- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and electronic circuits.- Knowledge of Technical English (> 90%).- Advanced programming knowledge and skill.
