As an** automation and control engineer,** you will be responsible for managing the distributed control system, as well as ensuring the availability and integrity of the power and control equipment in order to meet the growth, improvement and reliability needs of the processes. Coordinate the scheduled preventive maintenance program, ensuring the operation of measurement and control equipment for resin manufacturing processes.
This position reports to the maintenance manager.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Plan and execute preventive maintenance activities for instrumentation and electrical equipment in order to comply with the preventive, corrective maintenance and metrology program.
- Diagnose and resolve Delta V control problems according to operating requirements.
- Develop and implement tools such as 5's, kaisen, Jidoka in order to facilitate lean compliance according to the company's objectives.
- Perform reports and failure analysis to solve the problem in order to take corrective actions to avoid repeatability in the equipment.
**Qualifications**
- Mechatronics Engineering or similar
- Intermediate English
- 1 to 3 years experience
- Knowledge in distributed control system
- Instrument Setup and Calibration
