.**Automation Developer Intern**We are hiring an **Automation Developer Intern **who will be assigned to projects to ensure that information technology products and services meet company standards and end-user requirements.**What you will be doing**:- You will be partnering with business customers, developers and analysts to evaluate business process automation opportunities. _You will learn and _be responsible for_:_- Working closely with Software Quality Analysts and development teams to establish project deliverables and timelines around automated test development. Assisting in automated test strategy creation for product teams.- _ Learn to_: Designing, building, executing, debugging, and maintaining automated tests- Tracking and reporting automated testing effort progress and issue resolution status- _ You will also _be responsible for_:- Learning and embracing Agile/SCRUM and DevOps methods to improve software quality.- Advocating the automation mindset!- Coaching and advising others on Quality & Automation best practices, procedures, and technologies.**Who you are****Required Skills or Competencies**- IT degree or related- English/Spanish.- Programming and development skills in languages such as Java, C#,.NET or others.- Ability to embrace details and formulate the 'big picture.'- Strong communication skills to work with local and global teams.- Team player: collaborative with all audiences.**Preferred Skills or Competencies**- Experience working in an Agile (SCRUM) is a plus.- Business Automation tools such as UiPath or others.**Why people choose to work with us**:At Steelcase, we put people at the center of everything we do.
