.Flex, a Fortune global 500 company, is the diversified manufacturing partner of choice that helps market-leading brands design, build and deliver innovative products that improve the world.We believe in the power of diversity and inclusion and cultivate a workplace culture of belonging that views uniqueness as a competitive edge and builds a community that enables our people to push the limits of innovation to make great products that create value and improve people's lives.Job SummaryTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add an Automation Electrical Engineer located in Guadalajara, North Campus.Reporting to the Automation & IIoT Manager, Automation Electrical Engineer role involves defining, developing, implementing and proliferating Automation projects, providing consultancy as SME and developing new customer engagement in the region with a focus in technical support.What a typical day looks like:- Design and Develop Electrical integration for Automation solutions.- Design and Develop Pneumatic integration for Automation solutions.- Design and Develop Safety integration for Automation solutions.- Evaluate and provide solutions on safety risks with safety devices in market for automatic equipment.- Promote, evaluate and implement electrical/pneumatic standards for automation solutions across the region.- Be able to create and define RFQ/SOW documents to quote with suppliers'new integrations.- Simulate electrical and pneumatic design in specialized SW, from simple automation and custom, using standards and implement, improve through new technology WW.- Have the capability to independently or together with other engineering stakeholders identify root causes of failures in the automated equipment, to provide and implement solutions.- High level participation in daily production activities and effective problem solving on daily issues.- Get involved with local teams and operations to provide technical support for the implementation or development of any technology.- Work on the maturity of the technologies currently deployed.- Take responsibility for the development or implementation of a project.- Train local teams on the technologies.- Lead a group of Automation Engineering.- Able to quote and follow up automation integration: Simple, Custom or entire line for full processes.- Work in collaboration with Project Manager to meet timeline.- Knowledge in Project Management.The experience we're looking to add to our team:- BA/BS or equivalent work experience.- Fluent English.- Advance knowledge in Electrical design, implementation and debugging for Automation development equipment, using Electrical design SW, such as: AutoCAD Electrical, Eplan, others.- Advance knowledge in Pneumatic design, implementation and debugging for Automation development equipment.- Advance knowledge in Electrical Standards for automation equipment
