.As Bilingual Automated Engineer you will support the transition to automated/mechanized lines as well as to develop automated solutions for high precision manual processes. As well as develop programs which require process, automation, and motion control for high precision assembly. This encompasses assessing the best process flow, analyzing data, handling the design, development, testing of electrical control systems, equipment, and machinery. Installation and technical support of PLC based equipment. Provide engineer support for control systems troubleshooting and maintenance. Design duties include original design of production equipment and upgrades of existing equipment.- Duties & Responsibilities- Work with the team to identify, develop scope, design, and improve the process automation systems.- Participates in the whole life-cycle construction chain from scope/concept definition to commissioning of machine.- Understands user requirements and priorities.- Programming and troubleshooting of control software, hardware, and special equipment (robots, vision, etc.).- Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and automation-related problems. Proficient in operator interface development. Knowledge of SCADA/MES architecture is a plus- Experience with industrial protocols- Working knowledge of vision systems and programming- Working knowledge of database architecture and structured query language.- Working knowledge of CAD- Proficient in Microsoft Excel spreadsheet software, Word processing software, and other Microsoft Suite products- Excellent written and oral communication skills, teamwork, analytical reasoning, and adaptability- Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
