Automation EngineerWhat you'll do:
- Ensuring that the machinery produces quality parts in a safe manner.
- To meet the KPI objectives defined annually by the maintenance team.
- Provide support to the maintenance team of the different processes of the plant (leather prepreparation, PU, sewing, assembly).
- Work as a team with the AMG teams in order to define, organize and prioritize the execution of activities focused on the support of the production lines.
- Support the maintenance technician team in the resolution of significant failures.
- Downtime analysis for the main lines.
- Definition and follow up through an action plan of countermeasure activities for the reduction of recurring failures and downtime (Generation of GIS and 4D reports).
- Work constantly on continuous improvement activities in the maintenance processes focused on improving the availability of equipment.
- Participate in events to define new LDWS production lines.
- Constant follow up of equipment standardization and application of lessons learned (Yokoten).
- Definition of PM and OPM routines.
- Equipment refurbishment.
- Teamwork with AMG teams and generate effective communication channel that allows the execution of the production plan without setbacks.
- Design or modify machine tooling in follow up to correct design flaws or improvements.
- Develop your planning, management and prioritization skills.
- Develop knowledge of manufacturing process documentation.
- Machine availability time according to target KPI's defined by the maintenance department.
- Continuous improvement in the development of the maintenance system.
- Reporting of significant shift failures.
- Analysis of significant failures according to the standard defined by the maintenance team.
- Refurbishment of equipment.
- Development of improvement activities in machinery.
- Generate reports of significant failures for further analysis.
- Provide technical support and guidance to the team of maintenance technicians and maintenance operators.
- Development of PM and OPM routines.What is required:
- Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electronic or Maintenance Engineering, with a focus on safety.
- Proactive.
- Analytical.
- Electricity, pneumatics and hydraulics.
- Knowledge of pokayokes configuration.
- Knowledge of mechanical design, control.
