**Main Responsibilities**:
As a Material Flow Automation Engineer for John Deere, you will be responsible for working with the business and other key stakeholders to identify, research, deploy and scale innovative solutions to address complex business problems globally to help meet operational safety, quality, cost and delivery goals.
- Translate technology-based solutions to solve material flow challenges.
- Develop and maintain the material flow technology roadmap.
- Participate in supplier discussions to support strategic supply base definition in automation.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders such as Emerging Technology, Smart Connected Factory, SAP and others to delivery demonstrated and integrated technology-based solutions.
- Project leadership, communication and teamwork skills.
- Breakdown projects into meaningful milestones and execute projects to schedule.
- Develop and /or execute pilot or analysis plans for proof of concepts.
- Document the solution playbooks for proof of concept and scaling.
- Support stakeholders in business case developments.
- Collaborate and communicate with stakeholders on concepts, status and decision making.
