.Title: Automation Maintenance Engineer 1POSITION SUMMARY:Supervise and coordinate the activities of the personnel in charge to comply with the maintenance program efficiently, meeting the goals and standards such as safety and hygiene, productivity, efficiency, quality, deliveries on time, and costs.Responsible for ensuring the correct operation of electrical, control, robot, automation, and instrumentation equipment, as well as the improvement in such equipment.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:Design and manage machinery, equipment or automatic systems involved in the production process.Improvement of efficiency, quality, and operating costs through the implementation of automation projects.Design of preventive maintenance routines for control, instrumentation, and automation equipment.Integration between software and hardware that help automate processes.Collaboration in the implementation of new projects with different departments.Development of user manuals, installation, and maintenance of automation equipment.Training of personnel required in control, instrumentation, and automation.Collaborate and promote in the execution of the TPM.Collaboration in the processes of root cause analysis of equipment failures.Effective management of all equipment and/or tools of the company in the areas of control and automation.Participation in improvement projects in preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance.Design, tooling, devices, and/or systems to improve productivity.Design, tooling, devices, and/or systems error-proof (Poka Yoke).Perform the registration of spare parts for critical equipment.Support to technical personnel in solving control, instrumentation, and automation problems.Check equipment according to specifications and direct set-up and adjustment of machines.Analyze the production program to coordinate preventive and/or corrective maintenance.Interpret and apply equipment specifications, procedures in your area.Establish and adjust work processes to meet production demands and/or customers, as required by production scheduling and workflow.Continuously improve your area's operations through the use of lean manufacturing practices.Effectively measure and report departmental activities.Develop and maintain the department's work instructions.Analyze and solve the problems of your area, as well as address conflicts that arise with staff.Maintain records of maintenance activities.Coordinate with supervisors and leaders in your area to achieve objectives.Carry out its activities following the policies and procedures of the company.Suggest changes to improve working conditions to avoid accidents.Ensure that the personnel in charge comply with the policies of the company, as well as security measures in accordance with current regulations.Provide its workers with personal protective equipment according to the operations they perform.Ensure that their staff use personal protective equipment
