Job Summary
- To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add an _Automation Project Manager Sr._ located in Guadalajara, North Campus._
- Reporting to the Sr Project Automation Manager, the Automation Project Manager Sr. is responsible for developing and leading comprehensive project plans for standard automation deployments for the Americas Region._
What a typical day looks like:
- _ Consolidate & Report of automation site maturity data and further automation opportunities._
- _ Reconcile site automation maturity data against internal dashboards and present them to senior leadership._
- _ Develop & manage timeline and milestones for the areas of process optimization, simulation, and automation in strategic sites._
- _ Resource planning for regional cross functional teams to ensure success in achieving project deliverables._
- _ Manage timelines and milestones for regional automation deployments in conjunction with site deployment team._
- _ Identify and assess project risk and create mitigation plans._
- _ Communicate project status on a periodic basis to regional and corporate stakeholders._
- _ Lead project update meetings with regional and site teams._
- _ Create and Maintain Supplier demand plan to expedite deployment of automation solutions._
- _ Monitor and Measure Supplier quality (delivery, implementation, testing, etc.) of automation equipment according to site SOW & global supplier agreement._
- _ Collaborate with Indirect Procurement to provide supplier insights to ensure proper compliance to supplier agreement._
- _ Manage and report regional site readiness capability of manufacturing internal automation solutions._
- _ Provide forecast of supply and demand for automation solutions to identify risks of missing deployment targets._
- _ Monitor and update the financial forecast of productivity savings for designated region to provide visibility into meeting fiscal year financial targets._
- _ Report on aging of project phases, effectiveness KPI's, comparison of before and after data, and trend analysis._
- _ Analyze automation trends to deliver insights for prioritization of resources and provide data driven decisions._
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
- _ Strong engineering experience, including broad based management and supervision._
- _ Project management tools: Smartsheet, MS project or similar._
- _ Advanced excel and power point knowledge._
- _ Advanced English_
- _ Previous experience working in the manufacture, electronics or/and telecommunications industry._
- _ Bachelor's degree._
- _ Previous experience in a Mid or Sr. similar position._
- _ Experience in staff coordination._
- _ Strong knowledge on implementing automation strategies._
- _ Responsible for standardizing process improvements._
- _ Good communication and excellent interpersonal skills._
- _ Demonstrates detailed expertise in very complex functional/technical area or broad breadth of knowledge in multiple areas; understands the strategic impact of the function across sites._
- _ Ability to define problems, collects and analyze data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions._
- _ Demonstrates advanced experience and skills associated with performing assigned functions._
- _ PMI Certification is a plus!_
