Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Automation Software Engineer located in Guadalajara, North Campus.
Reporting to the Manager, Automation & IIoT, the Automation Software Engineer role involves being responsible of Defining, Developing, Implementing and proliferating Automation projects, providing consultancy as SME.
What a typical day looks like:
- Automation Software Engineer for MAP designing and deployment in sites. Dedicated to develop MAP software for each station in development stage and generate standard guidelines for implementation.
- MAP Line support on each customer from deployment, and give training to sites to share knowledge.
- Develop software for automation equipment-Hardware NOT for data manipulation, but for automation.
- Software development for manufacturing automation systems.
- Good understanding of Programmable Logic controller, Industrial PC and sensor.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
- BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
- Knowledge in Automation.
- Experience with python,.NET, C++, JavaScript or similar programming languages adaptable to automation HW implementation.
- Advanced English (Worldwide interactions).
- Experience with data connectors such as MQTT, LoRa, WiFi, Bluetooth and others.
- Experience with cloud platforms and data storage systems such as Google Cloud, AWS, SQL or others.
