About the roleEmbark on a transformative leadership journey with Reckitt as our Automation Superintendent. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for all topics related to automation, instrumentation and new technology on manufacturing areas at site; to ensure that production lines achieve at all times the level of safety, quality, performance, customer service and cost. Your responsibilitiesResponsible for ensuring all automation activities are carried out in a safe manner and in accordance with State and Federal regulations including our company policies.Ensure that the automated equipment work in a perfect condition to do not jeopardize current production and implements the best practices to improve the automated technologies.Provide support for new CapEx project implementation and lead automation projects related.Ensure all PLC, HMI and SCADA systems are under maintenance activities and ensure the right strategy to backup, restore and archive the programing accordingly to CFR21.Leads the automation area training program to ensure appropriate skills are available for current and new technologies.Collaborate in the analysis of available loss data and champions activities to improve plant equipment effectiveness and reduce wastage within operations.Empowers our automation teams together with maintenance team to take ownership for their work processes and improvement plans, to be fully autonomous to ensure KPI targets are achieved.Accountable for ensuring sufficient and flexible work processes are developed in conjunction with Operations and maintenance leadership team and then implemented flawlessly throughout all operations in order to deliver Production KPI's.Support and embrace all project scopes in his area to compliment the plant continuous improvement methodology and meet new product development timings.Leads and co-ordinates all automation activities with engineering, operations and materials team to ensure minimal unplanned interruptions to plant operations.Contributes to consistently delivers the highest quality services possible to the business.The experience we're looking forProven leadership skills to drive Production area to ensure that all products are manufactured in accordance with our quality standards and to an agreed schedule, at minimum cost.Bachelors degree in Automation, Electronics, Mechatronics or similar related degrees.Previous experience with programming, PMI, PLC, HMI, SCADA, Siemens, Wonderware, Drivers or similar technologies.Needs to build effective partnership with local/ leader and function leaders to effectively implement strategies and projects.Excellent relationship and stakeholder management skills to actively engage with direct reports, peers and Line manager.Bilingual in English is required for this position.The skills for successSupply Chain Management, Business Partnership, Collaboration, Partnership building, Relationship management, Business acumen, Productivity management, Improve business processes, Advanced analytics, Data analytics, Manufacturing excellence.
