Automation Technical Program ManagerDepartment: R&DEmployment Type: Full TimeLocation: JuarezDescriptionResponsible for managing cost saving, quality, and continuous improvement in the global automation program. Develops project plans and manages resources, timeline/milestones, financials, and human capital for the projects assigned. Verifies automation program plans and execution adhere to defined dates, projects detailed plans and assures a significant overall business impact consistently by partnering with other automation managers to deliver high quality in the design, development, and implementation of automation projects. Proactively identifies project risks and develops mitigation plans.Key ResponsibilitiesPlans and executes integral thinking in the automation of manufacturing operations.Challenges designs of new automation and participates in the selection of new automation technologies.Articulates accountability and delivery of the automation projects activities such as BOM readiness and accuracy, automation materials ordering, receiving and management.Proposes alternate solutions to reduce cost and complexity of new automations and solutions.Partners with Automation managers, engineers, technicians, maintenance, operations, engineering, quality, EHS, and finance leaders to properly deliver new automated machines to production.Manages the project management department and team members.Leads/manages projects across multifunctional groups/departments located in different countries.Responsible, articulate, and motivated Project Management.Ability to create innovative solutions to any problem and provide project leaders/engineers with feedback, encouragement, and advice.Develops individual project plans complete with budgetary information and resource needs.Communicates project objectives to all team members involved.Manages projects procurement and capex accordingly.Understands interdependencies between technology, process, product, operations, and business needs.Acts as an internal quality control check for the project.Provides updates to the leadership team.Undergraduate degree in Electronic, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Technology, Process/Industrial Engineering, or any applicable Engineering discipline.Experience managing teams.Proven ability to demonstrate a drive for results and accountability of business needs.English/Spanish fluency is indispensable.10+ years of relevant experience in project management.Strong communication and negotiation skills.Good experience in manufacturing technologies that include: 3D Printing, Robotics, Laser Marking & Laser Cutting, High Automated Production Lines, Database, 5 Axis CNC Machines, Coordinated Motion System, RFID System, Ultraviolet and Infrared Systems.Six Sigma Training and experience (Green Belt minimum).Experience in FDA regulated environments.#J-18808-Ljbffr
