Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add an Automation Technical Project Manager located in Guadalajara, North Campus.
The Automation Technical Project Manager role involves Lead and drive regional and site-specific activities on Growth and Productivity. Align and support each BU ensure we are achieving goals on both.
What a typical day looks like:
- Work effectively with leadership, design and engineering, Segment CTO's, sales, marketing, and other stakeholders to prioritize requirements for Growth and Productivity
- Define clear requirements to achieve goals with ROI, Investment cost, scalable solutions etc.
- Build financial models (i.e., Microsoft Excel); conduct quantitative and qualitative business, market, and competitor analysis; help identify and assess existing and new market initiatives as it relates to Growth
- Be a key spokesperson to advocate core product capabilities and potential opportunities. Effectively participate in promotion activities internally and with customers to represent various industry products, solutions, and value propositions.
- Requires previous Project Management experience in a complex, high volume manufacturing environment.
- Previous experience in medical device would be advantageous given the compliance requirements.
- Previous experience in another segment such as Automotive, etc. is very desirable.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
- BS degree in Engineering electronics, mechanics, mechatronics or similar
- Advanced experience in a similar position in the electronics manufacturing industry
- Advanced experience as Project Management
- PMI Certificate (Project Management Institution)
- Knowledge in Automation-Maintenance and Engineering
- Evaluations, plans, internal strategies
- Gap Analysis
- Analysis (Tracking Systems) - Global Customer Communication
- English Advanced (Worldwide interactions)
- Finance (P&L- Balances Investments Vs Savings)
- Valid US Visa and passport.
- Desirable experience in an Industry similar to Electronics (plastics, Metals, Food-Pharmaceutical Industry Health Reliability)
- Tracking capacity - deployment for the savings goal
- Impacts the long-term (annual) direction and financial or operational success of the function and/or site. Approves and/or creates functional processes or technologies. Establishes and ensures effective achievement of functional strategic plans and objectives for the site. May have P&L responsibility for the function.

- Exercises wide latitude in determining objectives and approach to critical assignments. 'Provides direction on large/critical projects
