Automation Test Engineer

**Role: Automation Test Engineer****LOcation: Guadalajara, Mexico (Remote for 6 Months then HYBRID)****Type of Hire: Full Time****Start Date: Immediate****Experience required: 5+ years**Key Responsibilities:- Backend API E2E Testing: Develop, execute, and maintain E2E tests for our backend API to ensure its functionality and reliability.- Web Page E2E Testing: Perform E2E testing on web pages to ensure user experience and system integration are working as expected.- Maintain Testing Pipelines: Ensure that our testing infrastructure is up-to-date and functioning correctly.- Review Daily Testing Reports: Analyze and evaluate daily test results for any discrepancies or issues.- Troubleshooting: Conduct initial troubleshooting for any issues found during testing and collaborate with development teams to provide detailed feedback.- Documentation: Clearly document all testing processes, issues found, and resolutions, ensuring easy comprehension for all team members.- Continuous Improvement: Recommend enhancements to the testing processes and tools based on ongoing feedback and observations.- Key Qualifications:- Previous experience in backend API E2E testing.- Familiarity with web page E2E testing.- Understanding of testing pipeline management.- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.- Written communication skills in English.- Ability to collaborate effectively with other teams and departments.- Preferred Qualifications:- Experience with Playwright and Postman.- Knowledge of TypeScript.- Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
