Job Title: Senior Automation Tester
Experience Level: 4-6 Years
Job Description: Responsibilities: Design, develop, and execute comprehensive automation test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on user stories and requirements.Conduct API testing with tools like Postman and frameworks such as Rest Assured.Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks, following best practices and coding standards.Collaborate closely with developers to document, track, and resolve defects.Participate in Agile processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.Act as a quality advocate, promoting user satisfaction throughout the development lifecycle.Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in software testing and contribute to the team's continuous improvement.Requirements: Advanced proficiency in API testing using Postman, Rest Assured, or similar tools.Knowledge of integrating test frameworks and cases with CI/CD tools like ADO, GitHub, and Jenkins.Solid understanding of design patterns beyond POM, including Factory and Singleton.Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies, including experience with tools such as JIRA and Confluence.Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex technical issues.Nice to Have: Exposure to cloud environments like AWS, GCP, or similar.Knowledge of best practices and standards in QA for high-quality deliverables.Experience working with globally distributed teams.
