Automotive Applications Engineer

It's more than 40,000 employees in 30 countries who are creating a smarter, more connected world and we are looking to expand our team in Guadalajara / Mexico.This highly technical role interfacing with many groups within NXP is an excellent opportunity to develop your technical skill set in a customer facing environment.- Perform validation of key IP blocks to ensure the defined functionality is properly met and documentation is well done.Qualifications:- Engineering or master's degree in Electrical engineering with at least 4 to 6 years of experience in the automotive domain and requirements for automotive electronic systems.- Deeper knowledge of automotive areas like: functional safety, security, HW requirements, SW architecture, and partitioning are a desired plus.- Strong Knowledge of embedded systems (microcontrollers and microprocessors) preferably on NXP Products S12 and ARM-Cortex MCUs.- Solid C programming and operating systems (i.E. FreeRTOS, ECOS) knowledge and experience for embedded systems.- Hardware design background (Schematic & PCB)- Excellent development knowledge and skills.- Analog & Sensors background- Be a good team player with strong influence & interpersonal skills, coupled with an ability to analyze, summarize and communicate efficiently in a multicultural environment and also as part of a local organization.
