As an AUTOMOTIVE COATINGS DIRECTOR, you will responsible Mexico operations, responsible of developing the execution strategy short
- and long-term ensuring agreement and support for all OEM accounts profit growth strategies.
You will report to VP Auto Americas and Global mobility.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage all responsibilities in compliance with PPG Blueprint goals, P&l process, and goals for Safety, Quality, Business Conduct, Code of ethics, Responsible Care and Financial Performance.
- Responsibility of the Automotive Coating business in Mexico, to develop and implement the strategy for Automotive Coatings to ensure profitable growth and customer satisfaction, aligned with the Americas OEM strategy and each OEM Global Customer Team.
- Responsibility for each OEM Technical Team to give Direction towards the achievement of the Mission, Strategy and annual goals of each customer, aligned with and in compliance with OEM strategy.
- Contribute to the evaluation of operational strategy and performance among with Mexico executive team.
- Contribute with manufacturing operations assuring quality, low cost and orientation to customer philosophy to support demand, manufacturing plans for OEM Costings business to meet local and corporate goals in profitability and productivity as described in the profit plan.
- Build appropriate customer relationships with to enhance PPG image and customer´s desire for commerce with PPG.
- Manage all business variables to ensure Working Capital Optimization and increased cash generation for PPG.
- Develop direct reporting staff through Talent Review System, assuring to have a succession plan for direct report´s positions.
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in business-related discipline with an MBA (including international studies) preferred.
- + 5 years of experience managing automotive, industrials, packaging or refinish coatings sales, marketing and technology is also required.
- Language proficiency required in both English and Spanish
- Travel requirements, including international assignments, may be extensive.
