Lumenance is seeking qualified design engineers to help our client develop components for active safety systems and package them into future cars.
This is a position in Ohio, USA.Job Duties:
Utilize CATIA V5 to perform the mechanical design (3D + 2D) and packaging of mechanical and elctromechanical components and assemblies (e.g.
sensors, electrical units, mounting hardware).

Coordinate with styling studio, other design engineers, suppliers, and factories to ensure all requirements are understood and cross:
functional needs are addressed

Ensure assigned parts and assemblies incorporate form, fit, function, and manufacturability requirements
:
Manage ones schedule for all assignments.
Includes tracking of project schedule and working overtime as needed to meet deadlines.

Track the cost of assigned parts and systems
:
As requested, investigating new technology and industry trends that will evolve into improved or new products
RequirementsEducation
:
4 year engineering degree(Mechanical, Mechatronic, Electromechanical, or similar) or a 2:
year degree with at least 6 years related Importante empresa
**Required Skills**:

Very strong CATIA V5/V6 skills:
including GSD, Sheet Metal Design, Part Design, Assembly Design, Drafting workbenches

Understanding of injection molding, stamping, and manufacturing technologies use to create mechanical and electromechanical parts and assemblies so as to allow one to create feasible designs
:
Must be able to solve engineering problems and take initiative in supporting overall development teams assignments
:
Ability to manage ones assignments and meet critical deadlines

Ability to collaborate with other engineers to address design and manufacturability requirements and issues
