Automotive Power Management Applications Engineer

**Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:
Good understanding of principal power architectures such as Buck, Boost, Buck-Boost, and related process and package technology, trade-off between system/design constrains, power/thermal analysis

Understand basic knowledge of measurement tools and method for analog circuit characterization, Efficiency, Gain-phase stability, transient response etc.
Prior experience in designing evaluation boards and bench validation/automation test setup

3+ years of hands-on experience on circuit testing and trouble shooting in lab environment.
Extensive customer design-in support experience with power management product is preferred.
Basic Microcontroller experience, understanding microcontroller architectures, state machines and basic C coding skillset.
Battery management, basic understanding of battery charging/discharging and basic principles considered as a plus

Work closely with product definers, design, business management, and customers throughout the product evaluation and optimization

Provide technical support to key customers and field engineers

Support new product development and key customers.
Participate in board-level design reviews with internal engineering team and prepare evaluation kits.
Good communication skills, able to explain system concepts and detailed technical requirements (writing and/or verbally) to internal teams and customers.
Self-motivated, creative and results-oriented.
BS or higher degree in electronic engineering or related discipline
