**Description**

An administrative assistant is a professional trained to assist in the organization and management of the company's administrative resources.

**Accountabilities**
- Deal directly with people or clients for the administration and management of important documents.
- File, organize, save and review the documents that are delegated to you..
- Make copies, scanner, take messages, coordinate parcels and postal mail.
- Buy items for the company's internal consumption to attend meetings.
- Provide administrative support to senior staff.
- Exemplifies CPKC Vision, Values, and Culture interactions with coworkers, business partners, customers and stakeholders.

**Required**
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or enrolled in an accredited program with less than one year until graduation, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability and aptitude to plan administrative and organizational tasks.
- PC and MS Office knowledge.
- High degree of trust due to the importance of the documents and information that is shared.
- Respectful treatment of people, being the face of the company towards internal and external clients.

**Preferred**
- Valid driver's license.

**Working Conditions**
- This position has a regular full time schedule with a normal work week of Monday through Friday. There may be a need for occasional work after hours or weekends.
- This position may require mínimal travel up to 10% of the time.
