The activities of this role are primarily focused on engineering design, customer documentation, bills of material, manufacturing drawings, and customer specification revision.
The incumbent performs engineering design activities on time, engineering job activities in accordance with quality requirements, preparation of specific order documents, and job-related calculations.RESPONSIBILITIES:Take ownership of engineering activities.Collaborate with BU's and GTEC Engineers to improve Customer Satisfaction and Employee Engagement.Have strong collaboration with the project team.Follow engineering best practices and Flowserve standards.Work with other Design Engineers to promptly investigate & resolve shop floor problems relating to design or quality issues; record & report findings, make corrections & help develop and implement permanent, cost-effective solutions.Create design drawings and other documents with the help of CAD tools.Generate bills of material and manufacturing drawings for engineered products.Identify new/improved design standards and procedural documents.Responsible for identifying upgrade opportunities for processes and products.Perform basic design calculations.Provide technical support to internal and external customers.Deliver on-time engineering deliverables.Meet project timelines for engineering documentation and gather approvals at the first issue.Ensure customer satisfaction, accuracy, and timeliness of customer documentation.SKILLS:Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering or closely related engineering discipline.0 - 2 years of related experience.Computer-Assisted Design/3-Dimensional design.Analytical, problem-solving, and computer skills.Good planning, time management, and organizational skills.Understanding of engineering documentation, drafting, geometric dimensioning, and tolerancing.Basic English verbal and written skills.Communicate professionally and with accepted business etiquette.Collaborative interpersonal skills.#J-18808-Ljbffr
