We are currently seeking a AWP (Advanced Work Planning) Coordinator, reporting directly to Planning Manager to join our team based in Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico.
**About the Job**
The AWP Coordinator will be responsible for managing the AWP program, including influencing early project setup and guiding engineering and project control systems.
The AWP Coordinator works directly with the project team to drive the efficient implementation, monitoring and mentoring of the AWP program on construction project.
**Responsibilities**:
- Provide strategic consulting and implementation advise to project team.
- Ensure engineering deliverables and data align with AWP program requirements
- Align engineering, procurement and construction stakeholders to implement and facilitate their company specific AWP programs
- Drive efficient implementation of AWP Programs through any stage of a project's lifecycle
- Monitor and assess a projects progress in their AWP program
- Coaching and mentoring AWP team members
- Create, or oversee the creation of, digital materials including AWP playbooks, guidelines, Work Packages
- Coordinate with contractors and internal project teams to ensure planning process is well executed and deliverables are produced in a timely manner
- Support creation of weekly and short-range lookahead planning materials for projects

**About You**
We'd love to hear from you if your profile meets the following essential requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management
- 5-10 years of planning & scheduling experience in the energy industry
- Significant experience with Primavera P6 scheduling software
- Advanced skills with MS Excel software
- Experience with scheduling and progress measurement of the engineering and procurement work processes
- Experience with multi-office execution and module fabrication yard execution
- Experience working on a field construction site or in a module yard fabrication facility
- Experience with Advanced Work Packaging (AWP) execution approach
- Working knowledge of MS Access software
- Working knowledge of MS Power BI software
- Working knowledge of MS PowerPoint software
- Extensive experience with Primavera P6 software
- Significant experience with in-house and third-party progress measurement software
- Experience with quantitative risk analysis techniques for schedules
- Experience with change management process and its impact on plans and schedules
- Experience with construction and commissioning scheduling
