We are searching for aBack-End developer to join our team in Ensenada, Mexico, who has experience building back-end services in Node.js and managing data exchange between the server and user-facing applications. Responsibilities will include the development of back-end logic. and maintaining the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application. You will work closely with the front-end developers to implement their components into the application. This is a fully remote position.
Essential Functions: Creating and maintaining server-side application logic Collaborate with front-end developers on combining their front-end elements and components with the server side Write high quality, readable and testable code Design and optimize applications for high performance, high availability and low latency Incorporate data storage solutions like PostgreSQL or MYSQL or any NOSQL DB's. Work with various serverless services like Lambda, SQS or DynamoDB to build backend services preferably in AWS Additional duties as assigned Qualifications: Bachelor's in computer science engineering or equivalent experience. Minimum 1 to 5 years prior experience Have good understanding of JavaScript Working knowledge of building API's and how to consume third party API's. Proficiency with databases and pragmatically modelling business processes through schema Understanding of automated unit tests and testing platforms and how to implement and integrate them Thorough knowledge of code versioning tools such as Git Lean software deployment and agile software development experience. Some familiarity with Serverless environments, preferably AWS.
