Backend Developer Specialist Java

What are we looking for? Backend Developer Responsibilities: Collaborate with the development of new features, enhancements, and fix existing system bugs. Engage and learn about complex business rules related to financial areas. Write well-designed, scalable, and testable code. Interact dynamically with BA's, QA's, and other leads to clarify business requirements. Be able to take requirements in from business stakeholders on software needs and build on them. Main Skills: Must be able to lead a team of developers and manage a book of work in conjunction with IT management and business customers. Extensive experience of server-side development on top of the Java Virtual Machine. Modern Java expertise (version 8 and up; we use 17 for new projects). Solid knowledge of core Java including OOP and use of Java Collections (HashMap, TreeSet vs HashSet, ArrayList vs LinkedList, ConcurrentHashMap). Experience working in agile (SCRUM-related) cycles and coordination with multiple teams of developers and users. Knowledge of Continuous Integration products such as TeamCity and Jenkins. Solid knowledge of Git version control and workflows around it. Knowledge of distributed systems. Scripting in Unix. Frontend knowledge (Angular, React). Any experience/knowledge in Capital Markets or experience in trading applications. Big Data analysis/knowledge (Hadoop); knowledge/experience inBig Data translates to knowledge in multithreading.
