Backend Engineer

**Company Description**:This team ensures that Cerby remains intuitive, user-friendly, and a pleasure to use. They enable the seamless use of our platform across a range of browsers and mobile devices, rapidly moving from prototype to production-ready.We are currently seeking a talented Backend Engineer to join them!What you will be doing:- You will deliver your code in a fast-paced environment and work with your team to improve our build process to ensure we are going fast and with high confidence.- You will be interconnecting various systems and services and providing a uniform and reliable API that simplifies the use of such services. Develop features and improvements to the Cerby product in a secure, well-tested, and performant way.- Some of the technologies you will be using:- Flask / Python- MySQL- AWS lambdas- SQLAlchemy**Qualifications**:We think you are a fit if you:- Are a fluent English communicator, able to express complex ideas clearly and concisely.- Are able to design APIs with optimal expressiveness and the right semantics.- Are able to architect new features from scratch.- Have demonstrated capacity to clearly and concisely communicate about complex technical, architectural, and/or organizational problems and propose thorough iterative solutions.- Scale backend systems by leveraging AWS-managed services.
