Backup Engineer L3

Perform daily storage management tasks and provide recommendations for effective storage system use.Responsibilities:Support, manage, maintain, and document Storage environments.Write and review change procedures for Storage environment.Resolve performance, security, and reliability issues with Storage environments.Migrate storage from EOSL to new arrays.Configure and support EMC and Pure Storage environment.Develop and manage monitoring systems and tools.Qualifications:7+ years experience with EMC and Pure Storage Hardware and Software.Working Knowledge of Cisco MDS switches.Working Knowledge of EMC Avamar/Data Domain and Commvault backup solutions.Knowledge of high availability / DR solutions.Experience with various operating systems (AIX, Solaris, VMware, RHEL).Experience with System Security, network design, Linux and Windows systems, and VMware.Knowledge of Oracle DB and scripting languages (Perl, Shell).#J-18808-Ljbffr
