.The Prod Ctrl Sr. Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for ensuring the completeness, accuracy and integrity of the bank's books and records in coordination with the Finance team. The overall objective of this role is to control and support data integrity and general ledger reconciliation, profit attribution and new activity analysis, valuation control and product P&L and balance sheet reporting.**Responsibilities**:- Evaluate moderately complex issues utilizing data, and select the best action between potentially conflicting situations- Analyze data by filtering, prioritizing, and validating moderately complex information from multiple sources- Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.- Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.- Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.**Qualifications**:- 5-8 years of relevant experience- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication**Education**:- Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experienceThis role will cover balance sheet reporting and analysis of debt securities, derivative products, structured products and other assets for Mexico Consumer and CCB businesses. It will require strong communication skills and teamwork across multiple locations and departments.**Responsibilities**:- Monthly Variance Analysis around Balance sheet moves- Oversight of Reconciliations Finance/Risk systems (CVA)- Intercompany trades Analysis- Quarterly Other than temporary Impairment Analysis (OTTI)- Legal Entity P&L & Geography P&L analysis- Participation on review and approval of New products- Responsible for Firm Accounts/Warehouses inventory and maintenance- Acting as a Business Partner to the Business, Risk, Compliance and Finance- Acting as the first point of escalation with regards to any discrepancies and breaches in intercompany deals- Identifying balance sheet reporting issues that may require particular attention with critical analysis of the valuation issues involved- FAS133/ASC 815 Controls**Requirements**:- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written- Extensive experience across Product Control and Finance processes- A proven track record of working in teams- A control focused mind-set with strong process improvement capabilities- A proven track record of managing staff- For this position it is required to solve problems that require careful analysis, diagnosis and interpretation in order to develop alternative solutions.- 6 to 12 years of experience in Financial Industry**Qualifications**:- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or economics
